The serial number on vintage Hagstrom guitars is typical stamped into the 'triangular' neckplate. The first three digits (677 in this case) give the batch number, the second three give the number within that batch. Batch 677 was a batch of 999 guitars produced in. Hagström guitars hold a place in musicians´ hearts. Many of the world´s greatest artists played and plays Hagström instruments, from ABBA to Zappa. Author Mikael Jansson is a journalist and musician. In 2006 he published a book (in Swedish) about the Hagstrom company history, 'Musik for miljoner'.
