Live creates a new Live Project folder when you save a Set for the first time. Make sure that this Project folder is not saved inside an existing one. The Project folder contains the Live Set (s), and all related files. Each Live Set you create should be saved in its own individual Project folder. The demo project are also referred to as Ableton Live Packs and these are sessions that you can open which will automatically import a collection of clips and samples into the software so you can not only get a feel for how the software and the devices work together, but you can get started right away with using your Launchpads to make music. The Ableton Live Template is a project file created, configured, and saved for future use. It is the same file type used for a song project. The template is customised (as you will see) so that it can be used with every new song you create.
